The island Sylt which is well known for the distinct shape of its shoreline is situated in northern Germany (a part of Nordfriesland district, Schleswig-Holstein), surrounded with the Wadden Sea, a part of the North Sea. It belongs to the North Frisian Island (such as Amrum or Foehr). The main town on the island is Westerland, its area is 100 km^2. The northern end of Sylt (Ellenbogen) is the northernmost point in Germany. My photos are from Morsum (the easternmost city on the island) and from Sylt.
